“Edvardson succeeds in making you think of books both as a physical objects and as vessels.” (Natasha Tripney, exeuntmagazine.com)

A group of performers memorize a book of their choice. Together they form a library collection consisting of living books, passing their time in a library: sitting in chairs, walking around, looking out of the window, ready to be consulted by a visitor. You as a visitor choose a book you would like to read. The book brings you to a place in the library, while reciting its content. An intimate one-on-one performance.

Make your reservations via vooruit.be or during Mind the Book in the library. You can pick one of these books - or you could try them all:

  • Elias, of het gevecht met de nachtegalen – Maurice Gilliams (Dutch)
  • Zeepijn – Charlotte Mutsaers (Dutch)
  • Een dag in ’t jaar – Herman Gorter (Dutch)
