De jonge Belgische band Yuko schippert tussen subtiele postrock en knisperende elektronica. Met hun vorig jaar verschenen debuut For times when ears are sore, (geproduced door Wixel op het Belgische Debonair-label), wist de groep rond de Gentse Kristof Deneijs meteen te overtuigen. Zelf omschrijven ze hun muziek als “smells of just-left beds, trains and what’s on their way, stomach aches and coffee stains on sunbleached tablecloths”. Hoe dat klinkt?
