July 18 & 19 – Opening weekend with live program in S.M.A.K.
July 18 to September 21 – Exhibition in and around S.M.A.K.
The SMAK, 10 Days Off, and Vooruit present Electrified, a summer event to quench your thirst for culture. The main ingredients are visual art, sound art and electronic music.
From July 18 till September 21 you will be able to visit a free exhibition in the SMAK featuring works by Ronald Kuivila and Edwin van der Heide. We will launch the exhibition with an opening weekend with audiovisual acts by Rikkert Brok and Maarten Halmans (Optical Machines), Boris and Brecht Debackere (Rotor) and Janek Schaefer (Skate). On July 19 there will be a special on DC Recordings with live gigs by The Emperor Machine, The Oscillation and Kelpe, and a dj-set by label boss Depth Charge.
