Graphic novels have been gaining popularity in recent years. American artist Craig Thompson is one of the biggest names in the genre. His poignant debut, ‘Blankets’, was embraced by critics and readers alike. His second effort, ‘Habibi’, is a love story set in an apocalyptic web of dreams, religion and emotion represented in Thompson’s dynamic drawing style. Belgium’s own Brecht Evens will be releasing his long-awaited new novel soon. Both artists will talk about their novels with Pat Donnez.
