Music website Cutting Edge thought Vetiver performed “a rock solid set from beginning to end” at their previous concert in Vooruit. Gentblogt wrote that “the set remained exciting and varied until the end”. We completely agreed and decided to invite Vetiver once more now they’ve got a new album out.
‘The Errant Charm’ shows clear influences from Fleet Foxes and Devendra Banhart, which is hardly a surprise as Vertiver specializes in melancholy, warm folk rock. Singer Andy Cabic’s carefully crafted songs go straight to the heart.
