Five years after he focused on space in ‘Raum’, Vanrunxt will focus on time in ‘Zeit’, taking Tangerine Dream’s 1972 album of the same name as his inspiration.

The German electro pop band was a major inspiration to Brian Eno, Kraftwerk and Radiohead. Their music focuses on man as a solitary individual, insignificant in the universe.

The four parts of the LP, played on an old-fashioned record player, will be linked to four ‘voices’ of philosophers and artists who discuss their work. This soundscape is interspersed with duets and solos by Eva Kamala Rodenburg (Raum, Extraction) and newcomer Igor Shysko (formerly of Rosas).
