“a captivating and inspiring play” – Knack
What to do with a chunk of undeveloped land strewn with industrial heritage? Sheik Hani Yamani thinks building a luxury hotel would be a good idea, even though the site is Unesco World Heritage. Six characters represented by six flat screen TVs sit and wait at a table. The seventh chair, reserved for the Sheik, is empty. Will he show up?
After the successful ‘Holoceen’ cycle, which included ‘Iqaluit’ and ‘Bonanza’, Berlin embarks on a new cycle with Tagfish. The cycle is entitled ‘Horror Vacui’ and shows portraits of table meetings.
