The name of the new performance by Teodora Castelluci and her company Dewey Dell is a bit of a tongue twister. It refers to three winds (the Furious Fifties, Roaring Forties and Shrieking Sixties) that cause gigantic waves in the seas of the Southern Hemisphere. The choreography focuses on a sailor, his ship and how they become one during a long and dangerous journey. Just like her father Romeo Castelluci’s performances, Teodora’s work is visually powerful.
