Can’t imagine a place more inert than the office? ‘Field Works-office’ will surely change your mind. deepblue introduces you to the hidden poetry of computers, printers, documents and the coffee machine in an intimate setting. You become part of the office you’re in and the hustle around you. Drawers and cabinets are opened, files are moved, documents fly through the air. A choreography of office furniture and props is created, gradually turning situations, objects and characters into something special and absurd. ‘Field Works-office’ is a playful and charming performance, a blend of Tati’s comedy and Kafka’s bureaucracy.

“Shinozaki and Røsdal Avdal look for the hidden, poetic nature of your desk and printer. Artists are hardly office clerks. So the duo and sound artist Fabrice Moinet prepared for this performance by taking the subway to a rented office every day in a suit.” – Knack
