A table at the Café, two headphones and a co-star which you might know or not. Those are the only ingredients of ‘Etiquette’ by Ant Hampton.

A voice on the iPod tells you what to do and say. While the other visitors of the Café are oblivious to what is going on, you play out a scene between you and your partner. You’re the star of a small play with coincidental props and instructions on an iPod.

Hampton & Mercuriali previously brought ‘Etiquette’ to Tokyo, London, New York and Melbourne. Participants called it “a magical experience”.

Watch what happened in New York.
