At this edition, Korte Metten – the one-night festival that is home to short and powerful new work – will get you in the Christmas spirit! We’re still working on the programme, but we can already tell you that Eva Mouton will make an appearance. This writer and illustrator will treat you to an imaginary Christmas dinner. You’ll also see flying comets, hear songs from the land of Santa performed by Finnish singer Anu Junnonen, while Fulco Ottervanger (De Beren Gieren) and Lander Gyselinck will perform imaginary carols. Artist Line Boogaerts will do something special with snow and Pieter Troch will present a new lighting design.
Artists-in-residence Drums are for parades will bring ‘Shamans of the Deaf Country play Baphomethadon’.
The Concertzaal will be transformed into a winter wonderland and our traditional Korte Metten bar will be serving mulled wine and other winter drinks.
