Badly Drawn Boy, a.k.a. Damon Gough, received the prestigious Mercury Prize for his debut, ‘The Hour of Bewilderbeast’. But it was the score he made for Nick Hornby’s ‘About a Boy’ in 2002 that earned him mainstream success.
Things went a bit quiet after 2006, but he more than makes up for that with ‘It’ What I’m Thinking Part One: Photographing Snowflakes’, the first part of what should be an album trilogy. After writing music for the score for British comedy ‘The Fattest Man in Britain’, Gough had so much inspiration that he decided to record three albums in a row. At this concert, expect a selection from the trilogy, alternated with older and more well-known songs.
