This world famous ensemble performs songs and music issued from the melting pot of various Anatolian cultures in their original languages: Turkish, Kurdish, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Armenian, Georgian, Laz, Greek and Roma. Their oeuvre forms a wonderful musical plea for multiculturalism and shows Turkey in all its aspects.

Kardeș Türküler means ‘songs of brotherhood’. The band combines enthusiasm and idealism with solid songs, meaningful lyrics and an excellent live performances. Many of you might remember the talented singers Feryal Öney and Fehmiye Çelik (singer for Gayda Istanbul) who performed at the previous edition of Istanbul Ekspres.
