Drums Are For Parades (who are still artists in residence at Vooruit) will present their new album ‘Master’ at the Balzaal on the 24th of September. The album, which will be released on the 20th of September, was recorded with the assistance of Das Pop’s Niek and Reinhard and was mastered in the U.S. by influential producer Howie Weinberg – known for his work on Nirvana’s Nevermind. The album also features guest appearances by Younes Faltakh (The Hickey Underworld) and Shining’s Jorgen Munkeby. ‘Master’ sounds like something of a mix between Slayer’s ‘Reign In Blood’ and Black Sabbath’s ‘Paranoid.
