Unfortunately the Dave Liebman trio cancelled their European tour. Muziekcentrum De Bijloke has found a replacement in the legendary duo Philip Catherine (guitar) and Jacky Terrasson (piano).

Although he regularly plays the recorder and the tenor saxophone, Dave Liebman is mainly known as one of the biggest talents on the soprano saxophone. In the company of two other giants of jazz, he flaps his wings, quacks and twitters like a bird set free in the space his companions have given him, subsequently giving them room for their additional comments. These three exceptional musicians have previously worked together in the bands of John Scofield, Gary Burton and Chick Corea, but have never played as a trio. That’s why they like to call ‘We Three’ “a new combination of old friends.”
