The United Nations have decided that the 20th of June will be celebrated as World Refugee Day from now on. This initiative is intended to stimulate sustainable solutions for millions of refugees worldwide that are looking for a better future. World Refugee Day is celebrated worldwide, and the City of Ghent will also participate. On Friday the 18th of June, the Intercultureel Netwerk Gent will kick off the event.
The programme will feature every.body.sound.beat, a performance by Gastvrij Gent, and concerts by Souscouche and Afroband. DJ Al will select the finest tunes for a great party.
