The first thing you notice about New York quartet Little Women are the two saxophones fighting for attention. They claw at each other like cats and bicker like children, which leads to intense thrash jazz that is sure to blow out the speakers!
When Andrew ‘Chi’ Claes (Brazzaville, Hamster Axis of the One-Click Panther) and Teun ‘Veto’ Verbruggen (Gowk, Othin Spake, Nozzle Slag, Flat Earth Society) first met, they clicked immediately. Not much later they founded Chaos of the haunted spire. With a combination of sax, drums and electronica, the duo creates droning noise and jazz with a sharp edge.
