Arid’s new album, ‘Under The Cold Street Lights’ will be released by PIAS on the 1st of March 2010.

Jasper Steverlinck’s vocals have often been compared to other fine singers such as Jeff Buckley, Bono and Bruce Springsteen. Everything started with 1994’s ‘Little Things of Venom’, an addictive album that landed them a deal with Columbia Records and an American release of the album. Arid was launched. They performed with Suede, toured Europe with the Counting Crows, played at every big music festival and could be seen and heard in the impressive IMAX 3D movie ‘Haunted Castle’.

De Morgen wrote that ‘Arid sounds more raw and sensuous than ever’ on ‘Under The Cold Street Lights’, their fourth studio album. Dramatic and powerful, mysterious and harmonic. Check them out, if you haven’t already!
