In honor and memory of Karel Van Miert, the sp.a is organizing a series of interesting lectures. A string of international guests will discuss some of the international issues that Van Miert devoted his life to: bringing and keeping peace, sustainable globalisation and the global battle against poverty.
The first lecture will take place on the 9th of February. Caroline Gennez will commence the evening with a retrospect of the life and work of Karel Van Miert. This will be followed by an interesting evening with three speakers who want to make poverty history, just like Van Miert did.
