If you like CocoRosie, Emiliana Torini and Joanna Newsom, you’ll certainly like the charming folk songs of Taxi Taxi. Swedish twin sisters Johanna and Miriam Eriksson Berhan are barely 20, but have already performed at Roskilde in Denmark, one of Europe’s biggest festivals, as well as at the Feeërieën at the AB in Brussels and have toured with Efterklang. The Swedish girl duo also released their 2007 debut EP on the record label of the latter. Their debut album ‘Still Standing At Your Back Door’ was released in late 2009.

ISBELLS
Isbells was definitely one of 2009’s musical discoveries. Their tender songs on acoustic guitar and wonderful vocal harmonies bring to mind the late troubadour Nick Drake and Fleet Foxes. The perfect music to shake off the winter cold and hail in the spring!
