The sound of The Valerie Solanas is not easily categorized. It’s a blend of pop, jazz, swing, country, blues and big band music. The vocals and lyrics by Michaël Brijs – close your eyes and you think you’re listening to Frank Sinatra – provide a unique touch. They used to be a crooner cover band, but now they are more like crooners on acid!
On special occasions, Michaël Brijs (Andy and the Androids), guitarist Tom Tiest (Jan Fabre, Noppes, Trio Pino), bass player Filip Vandebril (Laïs, Antwerp Gipsy Ska Orchestra) and drummer Diederik van Remoortere (Electric Quartet, Squeezable Future, Lampekap Collectief) are joined on stage by Hired Guns, a three-piece horn section with all the energy of a complete big band.

Join us for a dance class from 13:00 to 15:00. Price: € 5 per person, registering is recommended. The ideal start for absolute beginners, dance aficionados, and a great way to brush up on your dance moves.
