Wim Opbrouck is a talented stage actor as well as a successful TV personality (just think of the plays Ten Oorlog, the Leenane Trilogy, De Asielzoeker or the TV series De bende van Wim and Het Eiland). He also sings and plays the accordion with the Dolfijntjes and will be succeeding Johan Simons as the artistic leader of the NTGent – the theatre company he is currently a member of as an actor – in 2010.
