While waiting for his girlfriend in a London flat, surrounded by people he didn’t want to talk to, Alessio Natalizia started experimenting with a music programme on his computer. Not much later, Banjo Freakout was born. The Italian Londoner soon released a few singles and an EP, covered Burial’s hit Archangel with an added Joy Division sample and made a remix for Bloc Party!
