The backbone of Almost Cinema is an exhibition that winds its way through the Vooruit building. This year, the exhibition will feature work by international artists such as Felix Hess, Jean-Noël Montagné, Pablo Valbuena and Juliana Borinski, while also offering a platform to Belgian artists Hans Op de Beeck, Bram Vreven, Aernoudt Jacobs and Kurt D’Haeseleer. Vooruit programmer Eva de Groote will elaborate on the work of several featured artists.

Join us for the festive opening of the Almost Cinema exhibition! Everyone is warmly invited to take a look at the sculptures, installations and projections starting from 6 p.m., followed by a free drink in the Balzaal.

On the same night, you can also enjoy the opening film of A Look Apart at the Ghent Film Festival or attend a performance by Kurt D’Haeseleer and Bérengère Bodin, which uses their installation as a backdrop.
