THE CAVE SINGERS
Judging by their two easy tempo folk albums, you wouldn’t suspect that The Cave Singers, hailing from Seattle, have a loud history with rock band Pretty Girls Make Graves, but they traded their electric guitars for acoustic ones a few years back. This turned out to be a good call, as their 2007 debut album ‘Invitation Songs’ and their recent release ‘Welcome Joy have been incredibly well-received. Music critics talked about “_a truly enjoyable album_” (Humo), “_an acoustic pearl_” (Goddeau) and “_sultry Americana with references to Violent Femmes, Iron & Wine and 16 Horsepower_ (De Morgen).

ESPERS
The psychedelic folk produced by Espers, the project of Greg Weeks and singer Meg Baird, lifts you to a higher plane of consciousness. The dreamy, magical and wispy sound the band produces never spreads out pointlessly, but adds to their supernatural soundscapes.
