Songwriter Sondre Lerche (hailing from Bergen, Norway, but currently living in Brooklyn) released his debut album ‘Faces Down’ at age 19, after performing as a teenager in the club where his sister used to work – even though he was actually too young to enter the venue.

This Norwegian fellow produces catchy uptempo tracks and sublime pop songs with all the ease of Rufus Wainwright and Badly Drawn Boy. And he’s no stranger to the world of cinema either: in 2007 he was asked to compose the score for Dan in Real Life, starring Juliette Binoche and Steve Carell. Sondre Lerche’s new album, ‘Heartbeat Radio’ is in stores now.
