Kamikaze came about when musicians Bart Maris, Filip Wauters, Kristof Roseeuw & Tom Wauters decided to cover for a band that cancelled their gig at the last minute. The four of them had never performed together, explaining the band name ‘Kamikaze’.

Ten years on and Kamikaze is once again, after a long break, performing with as much energy and drive as at the beginning. By now they have become icons of the Flemish and international jazz scene. Their sound is more solid than ever, as they leave ample space for an intense musical dialogue on stage. The musicians can find each other without words. This concert will be recorded for a live album. A perfect way to kick off the season!
