For his new show Belgian choreographer Wim Vandekeybus, one of the biggest names on the international dance scene, found new partners in Peter Verhelst and Mauro Pawlowski. A collaboration that is sure to lead to fireworks. Author and dramatist Verhelst puts poetic words in the performers’ mouths, while Mauro Pawlowski, guitarist with dEUS and frontman of several unique bands and side projects, delivers a hypnotizing soundtrack. After the theatrical Menske in 2007, Vandekeybus employs a more dance-oriented imagery this time. With a renewed company consisting of seven young dancers he elaborates on themes such as change and evolution. As a counterbalance for a body at full speed, suspense and emotional temperament, he places the timelessness of the soul.
