You think country is for cowboys from the Far West? Norwegian band Huntsville doesn’t agree. With a banjo and a pedal steel guitar, the trio performs a Scandinavian version of Americana that is at once experimental and fragile: “Huntsville takes you on an intriguing cruise of a variation of styles with a subtle ear for detail, experimentation and rebelliousness. Hypnotizing is the only apt description.” (Gonzo Circus) On their new debut album Eco, Arches & Eras (released on the Rune Grammofon label in 2008), electronica and creative percussion play a prominent role.
