10 p.m. The Syrian Bride (Eran Riklis, 2004)
Young Druze Mona from the Golan Heights travels to Syria to marry a local TV star (who she only know from TV, while he’s only seen her on a picture). When she passes the Israeli border, she is arrested on Syrian soil. She may not continue, because there’s a problem with her passport. But she may not return to Israel either…

In this comedy, Israeli director Eran Riklis tells the story of people divided by physical, mental and psychological borders and of the courage and the choices people have to make to cross these borders. You will also be able to watch The Lemon Tree, by the same director, preceded by an introduction by the man himself.
