Karkwa is one of the biggest French-speaking rock bands to emerge from Canada in the past year. Unfortunately, they have performed relatively few concerts in Europe up until now. But look, here we are to save the day!

For the clever pop rock on their third album Le Volume Du Vent they were assisted by Patrick Watson, Galaxie 500’s Olivier Langevin and Land of Talk’s Elizabeth Powell. Music website Band à Part voted it best album of 2008: “The lyrics are touching, the vocals are perfect, and the songs are well-crafted. Even the artwork is amazing. So hold your breath… and dive in.”
