Teun Verbruggen’s Rat Records will invite two exciting bands for this second label night at Vooruit.
Barcelona resident Nico Roig traded in his skateboard for a guitar and found two excellent companions in Joachim (in the studio) and Marti Melia (on stage). Os Meus Shorts is like a musical diary full of beautiful and funny miniatures for the guitar and bass clarinet.
The Yul trio is typified by the lyrical sax sound produced by Erwin Vann and Michel Mergaerts’s melodious bass. Drummer Pierre Tanguay, one of the biggest names on Quebec’s improv scene, adds the necessary tension.
