SOPLARTE
Soplarte is a project by glass artist and musician Charlotte Van Wouwe. She creates amazing glass wind instruments that inspire her and musicians Berlinde Deman, Marie Anne Standaert and Bart Maris to make wonderful music.
MADIHA FIGUIGUI - GUI GUI’S MAD
Madiha Figuigui is a classically trained singer from Brussels with Moroccan Roots. She first stepped into the spotlight with productions such as De Noces by Walpurgis, T’IJlland by Willy Thomas (NTGent) and the opera Héliogabal by Peter Vermeersch and Josse De Pauw. In the musical theatre production Guigui’s Mad Figuigui culls from a wide array of songs: from Purcell and Bach to Ravel and Villa-Lobos, to Arab and Jewish folk songs, jazz and own compositions. The programme will place Figuigui fragile yet powerful voice centrally. The poetic show will be visually amplified by multimedia video projections.
