Dror Feiler is an inspired man. He fills his days with his love for music, his interest in politics and finds a way to unite these two in his compositions.

On the opening night of the game is up, Feiler and the brass band Excelsior will take to the streets of Ghent with Basura (Spanish for ‘dirty’), eighteen short compositions for a brass band and a dustcart. Their trajectory is via Vooruit – Bagattenstraat– Willem Tellstraat – langs Blandijn – Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat Lammerstraat – Zuid – Limburgstraat – Belfortstraat – Korenmarkt – Veldstraat – Kouter (korte stop) – Walpoortstraat – Vooruit.

Dror Feiler is an Israeli musician, artist and activist who fled to Sweden in the early seventies because he refused to serve in the Gaza strip. It was here that he became the president of Jews for Israeli-Palestinian Peace (JIPF) and the European Jews for a Just Peace (EJJP).

On Thursday the 12th of March will perform once again as part of a double bill with Kapotski
