Artist duo HeHe consists of German Heiko Hansen and British Helen Evans.
Their project Pollstream – Nuage Vert won the prestigious Ars Electronica art prize.

Nuage Vert ran in the Finnish capital Helsinki in February 2008 with the help of Finnish artist, curator and writer Juha Huuskonen. He was the curator of the video and installation trail during the 2007 Vooruit festival Etoiles Polaires Finland. For the project, the cloud of smoke coming from a Helsinki power plant was illuminated with a powerful green laser. The illuminated part of the cloud became bigger as inhabitants used less energy. The project required the cooperation of all Helsinki’s inhabitants, using the motto ‘unplug’! At the exhibition at the game is up this project is documented with pictures, videos and posters.

Apart from exhibiting their work at the game is up, the two founders of HeHe will talk about their project during a Salon, a talk with Eva De Groote, Vooruit’s media arts programmer, during which questions from the audience will also be answered.

FOAM
A biodegradable lab where scientists, artists and experts occupy themselves with patabotany, guild-gardening, involving plants in videogames and fiction or communication with plants and plant-person interaction?
