A small Japanese lady, a tall Canadian and a bunch of ramshackle instruments, that’s Elfin Saddle for you. For their playful and magical folk they draw inspiration from outsider art and nursery rhymes. As a result, their debut album, released last year, sounds like a collaboration between CocoRosie and Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy.
