Dora Bleu’s restrained guitar music is dark and compelling, with a threatening feel that is amplified by her fragile voice and the dragging double bass of Alexander St-Onge (who will also perform on Etoiles Polaires Montréal with Sam Shalabi’s Egyptian Light Orchestra). Dora Bleu regularly tours The States and has conquered Finland and Eastern Europe. Now it’s Ghent’s turn to discover her sensitive folk.
