GAMBLETRON

Lisa Gamble, drummer with Hrsta and Carla Bozulich, has good reason to call herself a “lo-fi hack sound machine”. For her own project Gambletron she experiments with altered toys, distorted voices, worn-out keyboards and noisy electronics. On stage, she creates a playground for noise and experiments.

Hrsta’s trademarks are Mike Moya’s echoing guitars and a voice that veers between Daniel Johnston and Thom Yorke. This psychedelic post-rock band fits in perfectly on the renowned Constellation label, which is also home to A Silver Mt. Zion, Vic Chestnutt and Tindersticks.
