In cooperation with ACE Digital House, the festival organises a competition for short films made by students of the Flemish film schools RITS, Sint-Lukas, KASK and Narafi. The winning film will be given a money prize of 2,000 euros for the director and of 7,500 euros for the postproduction. Taking part in the competition are: Erszebet by Robbe Vervaeke (KASK, animation), Finding Home by Christopher Daley (KASK, documentary), Julie, Dear by Annelore Janssens (Sint-Lukas, fiction), Overprotection by Jonas Jatidjan & Joren Verfaille (Sint-Lukas, animation), Passages by Johann van Gerwen (KASK, Fiction), Soldater by Helene Wang (Sint-Lukas, fiction), Une Toile by Ophélie Tailler (KASK, animation), Weg by Reinhard Deman (Narafi, fiction), Yakkety-Yak by Andreas De Ridder & Maarten Van Rooy (RITS, animation) and Zerzura by Ruben Vermeersch (RITS, fiction).
