The installation trail will be opened on Wed 8 October by Ulf Langheinrich, who will take you on a cinematic experience, replacing recognizable images with an overwhelming audiovisual aesthetic.
Afterwards Heike Langdorf, Ula Sickle & Laurent Liefooghe will conjure up shadows in a contemporary version of the 19th century optic illusion ‘pepper’s ghost illusion’. In the installation trail you can try out these optical effects for yourself. In the evening the trio will give a performance in the installation during which they blend illusion and reality in a visual game. The audience will be misled more than once.
