Choreoghrapher Ugo Dehaes, who amazed the audience with couple-like last season, presents his new project Forces in February. In his typical visual style he expresses his fascination for the fundamental forces of physics. During this preview you’ll be able to see how the performance has developed after a fourteen-day residence in Vooruit.
In two-week periods, Dehaes worked on this physical theme with several dancers in cultural centres across the country. These collaborations lead Dehaes to create short ‘popsongs’ as he calls them: short dance fragments which can be presented in different order during the performance. Just like songs change place on a concert playlist.
