Stafrann Hakon
With his “guitar drones” and electronics Hakon creates a zen-like wall of sound around which he grafts his melodies. This leads to surprising work which is reminiscent of Sigur Rós’s soundscapes, Gorecki and Nick Drake. Hakon ended the concert with an Icelandic version of ‘Do They Know it’s Christmas’/’Hva, þekkja þau ekki jólin?’
