CREW lets you see the world through someone else’s eyes! Two visitors put on a helmet with a screen before their eyes and a camera on their heads. But can they believe their own eyes? Their visual range is no longer their own, but someone else’s. Both of them try to find their way through the Vooruit corridors, following instructions of the other person. What should be an easy stroll, becomes an incredibly intense experience. Try out the newest head swap technology and sign up at the Vooruit Box Office.
CREW, led by Eric Joris, is one of the most experimental performance collectives in Flanders. For several years now, they have been researching virtual reality and digital technology in their perofmances. CREW was also a guest at Vooruit during the game is up ’07, where you could watch a preparatory study for O_Rex. You can catch the final version of that performance at Vooruit in early November.
Reservation can be made from next week onwards.
