Barbie Bangkok is the band of singer Tom Goethals and drummer Laurens Smagghe. In 2004 they reached the final of Humo’s Rock Rally (a Flemish talent competition), the same year as Absynthe Minded, The Van Jets, Milow and Madensuyu), which led to the release of their EP Oh my God. After four years, the band from Ghent is back with musicians from Motek and other bands in their ranks and loads of catchy pop songs of the purest kind.
