Shorthand for The Management, the band name New Yorkers Ben Goldwasser and Andrew Van Wyngarden first used when they met each other at college about five years ago. The band took off immediately: before even having released their debut album Oracular Spectacular (2008), they had been on tour with hot bands Of Montreal and Yeasayer. This is most certainly due to their fresh and varied style, which experiments freely with psychedelic pop. Their ultra-catchy singles Time To Pretend and current hit Electric Feel are perfect examples of this. Seen and approved at Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop.
The support act will be A Place to Bury Stranger. These fellow Brooklyners are currently supporting Nine Inch Nails on their tour of home country US.
