A Brand scored a huge hit back in 2006 with the damn catchy single Hammerhead: the song occupied the number one spot in De Afrekening – Belgium’s rock hit list – for 8 weeks and was voted best song of 2006 by the listeners of Studio Brussel, Belgium’s foremost alternative radio station .

Now the band from Antwerp is back with their third album, Judas: sharp rock ‘n’ roll with drums, four guitars and five vocals. Or, in their own words: “It’s glampop. It’s artrock. It’s high fidelity lofitronics. It’s a delicate mix of 70s pop, 80s beats and 90s rock. It’s groovy. It’s edgy. It’s taking the best of all worlds and transforming it into a here & now sound”

Malibu Stacy and The Subs will warm up the crowd. Malibu Stacy... and no, we don’t mean the fake Barbie doll, but the Walloon band of the same name that will release a new album in September. The winners of the 2004 Concours Circuit ( a Walloon talent competition) well and truly master the art of writing the perfect pop song. And a band with a lead singer who calls himself E.T. has to be out of this world!

The Subs are Jeroen De Pessemier aka Papillon (singer/producer), Wiebe Loccufier aka Tonic (half of dj-duo Starski & Tonic, heirs to the Culture Club-throne, as they took over the residency spot at the infamous Ghent club from 2 ManyDJs and The Glimmers) and Stefan Bracke aka l’entrepreneur (splits his time between deejaying with The Subs and fronting his raverockband Foxylane). After the catchy singles Fuck that Shit, Kiss My Trance, Substraction and You make me spill ánd some mindblowing live concerts, they will release their debut album in October.
