The Tribe Band, which rose from the ashes of Troisseur, is on a quest for sound, which leads them from folk, roots and jazz to post-rock. With harmony as well as cinematic instrumental music and improvisation, The Tribe Band opts for a genre-crossing approach. Their concerts are non-conformist and burst with energy and creativity.
All songs on the new album that they’ll be presenting at Vooruit where created in the music workshop Tribe, a sort of music lab. The Tribe Band musicians form the in-house ensemble of this research institute. They take on (international) collaborations, organize improvisation marathons and set up crossover projects between music, image and dance.
