After their thrilling gig at Boombox during the Gentse Feesten this summer Girls in Hawaii became the darlings of the Ghent crowd, and it’s safe to say that the feeling is mutual. That’s why the Walloon sextet, which has already gained fans from Iceland to Japan, will return to Ghent to rock Vooruit’s Balzaal.

Their excellent second album Plan your Escape is bursting with intelligent songs and layered rock can, which easily bear comparison with international bands such as Grandaddy and Belle and Sebastian.
