Author Kader Abdolah recently caused a stir with the double volume De Boodschapper / De Koran (The Messenger / The Koran). The Iranian refugee debuted in 1993 with De Adelaars (The Eagles). His book Het huis van de Moskee (2006) (The house of the Mosque) was elected the second best Dutch-language novel ever. In Vooruit’s Domzaal, Abdolah will talk to Yves Desmet, chief political editor of Flemish newspaper De Morgen. Els Dottermans will read from Kader Abdollah’s work.
