Rock & Roll Masterclass is a confrontation with rock & Roll history: heavy rock and trash in all shapes and sizes. Absolute headliners this time are The Hellacopters, who are on their farewell tour.
After 13 years and seven albums, these hard-rocking Swedes are calling it a day. The sole worthy heirs of The Stooges and MC5, they put the rawk back into rock with their legendary concerts: tight riffs, great choruses and plenty of soul and solos.
On their last album‘Head Off’ they presented an exciting mix of fat blues-rock riffs, poppy glam punk reminiscent of Turbonegro and The Hives and funky rock in the tradition of The Black Crowes and The Bellrays. This summer they’ll be playing a couple of big festivals, and the fall sees the zenith of their career as they go on their last European club tour ever. It promises to be a legendary evening.
Before that Belgian band The Paranoiacs and Demented Are Go, icons of the psychobily scene of Wales, will let the guitars roar. The other bands performing at the Rock & Roll Masterclass will be announced later.
